My stay in Two London areas

I have been a business associate for 10 years to one of my suppliers and he invited me to London. I have paid visits to my suppliers in France and Holland some years ago. I wanted to see with my own eyes some of the things I have read about London in School so I was anxious to visit the City. I deliberately book my hotel in two parts. Spend one week at Tavistock hotels and the other week at a Hotel in Victoria. I wanted to be close the Landmarks in the area.

I got to Tavistock hotel by Taxi from the airport after going through all formalities at the airport. The journey to the hotel took more than an hour. In Bloomsbury, the Russell Square area has good hotels.

I was so fond of the area although that was my first day. With my map, I decided to hit town and explore the capital which I have read so much about. To say all at onec, London was not different from the London I read about in books and magazines. For that, I was so happy. In Bloomsbury there is the British Library and the British Museum. I toured both places on the first day. From there and with the aid of my map and people on the street, I was able to navigate my way to Covent Garden where there we a lot of street performers.

For the rest of the week at Tavistock hotel London, I visited the West end area. I just went to Marble Arch and the Oxford Circus areas to explore the areas. I visited the Leicester Square which is sometime called The Theatreland. The area has got a lot of cinema theatres. I also visited Piccadilly Circus. It was in fact another busy area of London because it is very close to Leicester Square. I paid a visit to the shopping streets in the West End area on my 5th day and was surprised to see that the place was so dense with shoppers and other tourists. It was so surprising to see that the three famous shopping Streets in london were all filled with people. Each of the shopping streets was busy but the Oxford Street was much more dense. I also went to Soho and also to China Town.

I went to stay in Victoria area in my second week as booked through Cheap London hotels agency. Victoria area was the place I was dying to be because there were a lot of exciting Landmarks to see. At Victoria, my first place of interest I visited was Buckingham Palace to witness the changing of the guard. I had the desire to go to the site of the Tower clock or the Big Ben for what I have read in books and picure I have seen of it. You cannot see the Big Ben or the Tower clock without see the Houses of Parliamnet. I also grabbed the opportunity to visit the Westminster Abbey. London eye was the final Landmark I visited. How this structure was built will forever amaze me. The London ey will continue to be one of the best Landmarks in London for quite sometime. I enjoyed my stay in Central London and I would like to stay in the cheap hotels in Russell square as they have good accommodation standard but lower rates.
